Alliance Architects maintains its offices near downtown South Bend, Indiana, in a 12,000-square foot facility which was designed by the firm in 1980. The building is located on the west bank of the St. Joseph River along the famous Lincoln Highway. Having the distinction of being the first road across America, the Lincoln Highway spans nearly 3,400 miles; from Times Square in New York City to Lincoln Park on San Francisco Bay. The road was first formed in 1913. This renders it both older and longer than the nation’s other well known transcontinental highway, Route 66.
