When a previous structural retrofit yielded an unsightly appearance at this existing parking facility in the heart of downtown, the City of South Bend asked the architects to design a low budget “facelift”. In response, perforated metal panels and accent features were applied in a contemporary pattern. The resulting modules and shadow lines animate the visible facades and provide a structural framework for banners and other seasonal graphics.
