PARKSIDE SENIOR APARTMENTS

The adaptive reuse of the Kewanee Hotel, a structure listed on the National Register of Historic Places, added forty-one senior apartments to the local market. The $6.5 million project included extensive common-area community facilities and administrative offices, along with new exterior lighting, asphalt drives, parking areas, sidewalks and a landscaped courtyard. The project scope also included the retrofit of a new low slope membrane roof, electric heat pumps and masonry restoration.
