AMERICAN TRUST PLACE

The architects worked closely with the City of South Bend and Michigan Street LLC to convert a largely vacant downtown property into a major mixed-use urban amenity. An 18,000 square foot addition was carefully designed to complement the similarly scaled, original 1924 National Historic Register building. The development features six luxury living units on the upper floors, the regional headquarters for Lake City Bank, and Cafe Navarre, an elegant, fine dining restaurant. The living units are served by a secure lobby entrance and were custom designed to capitalize on the panoramic views of the city skyline.
